Christmas Wall Plaque with Monica Edwards

Hi everyone! It's almost Christmas time woo hoo... so I am sharing a wall plaque. 

I made by using one of the pages from the Dingbat mini album and covering it with Graphic 45 patterned paper.

I then took the Chain Frames covered it with gold embossing powder to match the colours in the paper and used to my frame my photo.

 I added some flowers and burlap ribbon to hang it up with.  Makes a perfect gift idea or a fun home decor piece for the holidays.

Charlene here! Thanks for joining me today! Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

Today I’m sharing with you a page I designed of my dear friend and I. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful and grateful for the family and friends in our life.Through the years I’ve learned that true friendships are precious, rare and sometimes hard to find. From the moment I met Rhonda I knew that we would become the best of friends, I’m so very thankful that this lady came into my life!

To begin creating, I added just a bit of Walnut Distress Ink to colour the 2 Queen Anne’s Drop. I didn’t have a round chipboard doily in my stash so I created one using 2 chipboard Queen Anne Drops, it worked perfectly!

The natural colour showing through the chipboard matched my layout beautifully!

Captured Scrapbook Layout with Charlene Byrd

Hello Bloggers!

Charlene here! Thanks for joining me today! My hubby and I just returned from an amazing trip to Mexico with 2 of our very dear friends.  I love travelling in April (well actually I just love travelling anytime) but I love it because when I return home I know that spring is right around the corner! You may still need hats and mittens for those cool spring days but the warmth is right around the corner.

This is my adorable niece Renna. She is the sweetest little girl with the biggest, brightest smile and the most adorable curls! She definitely makes the life more beautiful just by being in it!

For this layout I used Southern Ridge Queen Anne’s Drop Doily.  The package comes with 4 chipboard pieces so I used 2 of them to decorate, balance and anchor the left side of my layout. I love this page because you can quickly put it together using some of your paper scraps, a bit of lace, add some beautiful chipboard pieces and voila…perfection!
