Blessed Card with Ruchi

Hello friends!! Ruchi here from Ruchi's Crafeteria and I'm back with my inspirational project.

Today I’ve created a card in Shabby Chic colours. Here it is..

I chose pastel shades for my card. Used Prima paper and adhered it in layers on my card base. Then applied texture paste using my own designed Damask stencil.
I picked Elegant Vintage Flourishes  and Butterfly Mix chipboards and heat embossed them in gold.

I've used my hot glue gun for pasting them on my card. just added a satin lace and a mulberry flower.

Lastly added some gold sequins here and there for completing the look of my card.

That’s it for today!! Hope you like my project. Don’t forget to check SRTC shop for these chipboards and some other awesome designs.

Hello crafty friends!

I made a big tag using Fine Clock Face and Word Mix #2 chipboard die cut from SRTC.

These beautiful chipboards are available at the Southern Ridge Trading Company Shop.

Here it is :

First, I choose the the a Fine Clock Face and 'Wonderful' chipboard die cut and coloured them with acrylic paint.
I used dark blue and purple colours.

And then I made a big tag.
I die cut for the tag using big tag die and blended it with fossilized amber, twisted citron, cracked pistachio, picked raspberry Distress Oxide inks using mini blending tools.

I stamped on the tag with triangles clear stamp from Kaiser craft, Finnabair clear stamp from Prima and Stormy sea, Scarlet Jewel dye inks from Papertrey ink.
And adhere the coloured chipboard die cut on the big tag using Zig glue pen.

And I added some blossoms and  blue trim.

“Loved” Mixed Media Tag with Karen Jiles

Hi there,

It’s Karen sharing a “Loved” Mixed Media Tag that I created with the Bubble Wrap Stencil and chipboard border. I love the combination. The use of the stencil enabled me to add a pop of colour and the chipboard border added some great elements throughout the tag. The chipboard and stencil really paired well with the flowers and pins that I embellished the tag with.  The Stone Drops added some vintage and aged effects. Take a look at how this tag came together in the tutorial below.

Step 1: Lay Bubble Wrap stencil on top of manila tag and secure stencil using washi tape. Transfer Bubble Wrap pattern onto tag using a Blending Dauber and Panama Rose ink.

Step 2: Cut chipboard border down to size of tag and adhere to tag. Note: Save the leftover chipboard for a future project. Add flowers, leaves and clear pebbles to tag.

Step 3: Add additional flowers, metal charm, beaded pins and dyed ribbon. Distress edges to tag using Panama Rose ink.

Step 4: Add White Stone Drops to edges of tag and heart pins.

Step 5: Using white paint and a paint brush, highlight the flowers, leaves and dyed ribbon.

Step 6: Tap on white paint with paint brush to enhance the overall design.

Step 7: Add crystals to the tag using Crystal Katana tool.

Step 8: Continue adding texture to the tag. Note: I added white Stone Drops to the chipboard border to add some more texture.
Step 9: Continue embellishing as desired.

Memories Scrapbook Layout with Gloria Lee

Happy Friday, Crafty friends!
I'm so thrilled to be a part of Southern Ridge Trading Co. design team and to share of my project I made using Garden set and Memories word chipboard die cut from SRTC.

These beautiful chipboards are available at the Southern Ridge Trading Company Shop.

I received SRTC chipboard package. Love them all so much!
First, I choose the Garden set and cut the pieces with my cutter bee scissors.

I coloured the Garden set and Memories word chipboard die cut with acrylic paint.

I made 12' x 12' layout with two sweet photos of my sons taken at the Ottawa Tulip Festival.

The coloured chipboards are dry completely, I adhere them on the layout with double sided tape and  Zig glue pen.

I use the Garden set's frame too.
The chipboards are perfect embellishments for layout.
