Seaside Scrapbook Layout with Katelyn Grosart

Hey Southern Ridge Trading Company fans, Katelyn here. The weather here on the west cost of Canada has been nice and sunny, which has me thinking that Spring and Summer will be here soon. With the thought of warm weather on my mind, I've created this Seaside Scrapbook Layout for today's project. You'll want to read below as I share with you how to embellish the chipboard pieces for my layout.

To start, you'll need three Mini Wood Sand Dollars and the Seaside Wood Word.

Trim the Loopy Strip down to 10". Apply Emboss It Ink to the loopy strip and sprinkle Salted Navy Embossing Powder over top. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Next, you'll need three Mini Wood Clam Shell and the Clock Frame. Apply Emboss It Ink to the clam shells and clock frame. Sprinkle Dirty Sand Embossing Powder over top of the frame and clam shells. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Cut the Wave pattern into three pieces that measure 2" x 2". Apply two coats of Chipped Sapphire Distress Paint to the wave patterns. Set aside to dry.

Take two Plain Banners out of the package. Apply Emboss It Ink to the banners. Sprinkle Iceberg Embossing Powder over top of the banners. Tap off the excess powder and emboss with a heat tool.

Lastly, you'll need five Mini Wood Starfish. Apply two coats of Cherish Americana Decor Chalky Finish Paint to all five starfish.

In amongst the fussy cut images of flowers and starfish, I adhered three clamshells, three starfish and two sand dollars.

Behind the photo mat, I adhere the two plain banners in the bottom right corner. The Seaside tittle was adhered over top of the banner paper strips.

In behind the photo, the loopy strip and clock frame were adhered. In amongst the fussy cut flowers is one clam shell and two starfish.

Adhere the orange patterned paper piece to a navy patterned paper piece. In the bottom, left and top sides of the orange patterned paper, tear the paper up. To add some interest in behind the orange pattern paper piece, adhere three wave patterns in the three locations to the navy patterned paper.

And here is the finish Seaside Scrapbook Layout with all of the chipboard elements put together.
