Love Is In The Air at SRTC!!!!

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to the SRTC blog where we love showing you some of the magnificent products from the Southern Ridge Trading Company shop.

Today I have made an easel card using the lovely FRA-130 as well as the LOVE word from WDG-310.

I just really like how the natural color of the chipboard pieces is so accentuated by the bright red!!

And...SHOCK...I have only used red and kraft cardstock...no DP!!! The absolutely darling image is Heart Sign from the Art By Mi Ran Etsy Shop colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding Glossy Accents to all of the hearts and hair ornaments. I added red pearls on each motif on the lovely frame, an organza bow in the upper corner, and some flowers and heart pins.

The LOVE word from the WDG-310 set is so striking against the bright red on the base of the card!!

Thank you so much for coming by today!! Best wishes for a splendid weekend, and we will be looking forward to seeing you again real soon!! Big hugs from Jacque!

Fairy Garden Mini Album

Happy long weekend all, Kelly Brandt here, and here is the mini album I made incorporating pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company.

I used the paper line from Bo Bunny Enchanted Garden and accessories from the same line. The focal point on the album cover is this great Fairyland Sign MIN-347 that you can buy at SRTC.

Bling and jewels adorn the chain which is part of the closure.

I used a Tim Holtz Key and hook as a closure.

another great piece from SRTC Min-347

loads and loads of tags, and lots of real estate for photos.....the fairy was die cut using my Silhouette Machine.

This butterfly was inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink, it is piece

Wedding Season

The wedding season is well and truly upon us, I made a card using WDG-310. It was actually a perfect size for a standard 4.25" x 5.5" card.
The dress and Love sentiment were painted with acrylic paint and some shading added. Then they were embossed with a thick, shiny layer of clear embossing powder.

The dress looked stunning, with the beautiful bouquet.
Thanks for visiting :)

And More Gorgeous Chipboard!

Hi there! I'm back today with some vintage chipboard!!  Ok, the chipboard itself isn't vintage but it sure looks great on a vintage card doesn't it?  Maybe shabby vintage?  LOL!

The stamp set I've used is from Live and Love Crafts "Stempelglede - Postcard from Paris" and I've adorned it with my usual raft of flowers.  LOL!

This honeycomb piece is one of my absolute favorites and so far I've managed to use 2 pieces from the 1 piece that's on the SRTC store and still have another piece left.  This piece is numbered PAT-274.

Here's another gorgeous flourish piece from SRTC COR-181.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your week.  I hope you manage to get in some crafty time this week.  It's soooo good for you!  hee hee

To Infinity and Beyond!

Hey Everyone! Sarah here to show you a layout I made using a new design on the Southern Ridge Store!

I love using chipboard in it's raw form! There's something really organic about it and I love adding that element to my layouts! I thought this new circle piece "PAT-373" would be a perfect matt to my photo! I actually cut it down a little bit and saved the other part for another project!

Here's some close ups:

There's quite a few new goodies in the store! You should definitely stop by and check them out!

Blessings

It's Autumn at SRTC!!!

A very Happy Day to everyone!!! I hope that you are enjoying your week!

Today  I have used some darling chipboard pieces....the NEW beautiful Maple Leaves NAT-393 from the SRTC Shop.

The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Sugar Hill Paper Pack by Farm House. The sweet image is Autumn's Memoirs from the Art By Mi Ran Etsy Shop. She was colored with Copics and Promarkers. In order to go along with the autumn theme I have used several copper metal embellishments: corners, ribbon slides, clip. The olive green and brown satin ribbon is from my stash.

In order to get the multi-shades of autumn coloration on the leaves I cut a thin coffee stirrer into a little scoop for the EP and first flicked the following shades of Adirondack embossing powder on the leaves: Clay, Butterscotch, Cranberry, Ginger, Espresso, Lettuce. Then I also flicked Super Fine Detail Gold EP before heat embossing. I really like the way the leaves turned out...smiles!!!

Thank you so very much for your visit and we hope to see you again real soon!! Have a delightful week! And until the next time, big hugs from Jacque!!

Nature Scene Layout

Hello Southern Ridge Fans! Kelly Brandt here with my first post as a guest DT member of the SRTC Design Team! I'm very excited to be a guest designer.

My layout was made using SPO-383 , and was perfect for all of the camping and hiking photos I have.

I used Bo Bunny paper as the background, large mat is green card stock, smaller mat is corrugated cardboard that I tore. Then I accented with Prima flowers, burlap paper from DCWV, and Bo Bunny Lace.

The tiles are SRTC and are great for any project.

I couloured these pieces with markers and then add Glossy Accents to make them shine.

I enjoyed crafting with the SRTC Die Cuts and embellishments.
Happy Creating ! Kelly.
