Spring Challenge

Annnnnndddd we're back with another challenge!!  Thank you so much to those of you who entered our challenge last month and stay tuned for the winner in tomorrow's post.  

This month we bring you another easy one.  New releases are on the SRTC store today and Karen has a few new pieces perfect to fit this challenge!

Each month enter for your chance to win 4 designs from the
 SRTC online store $20 (before tax) retail value
of YOUR OWN CHOOSING! 

And ... it's a completely RANDOM DRAW!

RULES:

- Must follow the theme
 - Your item can be a card, mixed media piece or project, whatever you can call "ART".  
- You can use any image, embellishments and any chipboard pieces you like.
- As of now, there is no limit for entries
- Must be a new project
- Can be combined with 10 other challenges

Nikki is back with another great project to get this month going!!

For our spring challenge I have made a card, spring is all about rebirth and regrowth, my tree is blossoming, my returning birds are nesting :


The tree is : NAT-333 and the birds in flight are : NAT-615 - coming to site today at 12pm PST!

The background is an emboss resist with a stencil. The tree was painted first with white acrylic, then with brown. I used thick body paint and textured the trunk. Each leaf was then meticulously painted in a pale green, then the shadow added with aqua acrylic. The final touch was to add a little dot of liquid pearls to simulate the blossom. The grass is painted with acrylic paint and a dry brush, and the words lightly stamped in the grass "All things grow with love".
