Hello ladies,
Thanks for joining me today. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far…I know I sure am! This picture is one of my very favourite pictures of my youngest son Remington (who is 16 now!). Of all the summer toys to play with he choose my metal wash bucket! I love how children can have fun with just about anything!
I cut apart 2 sections of the fishnet pattern chipboard to tuck behind the photo. I wanted to keep it natural looking so I keep the chipboard in its’ raw state.
The 2 chipboard words were a mixture of different colour sprays. I kept adding different colours until I achieved the desired colour I was hoping for. (Thankfully it turned out lol!)
To create the 2 butterfly chipboard pieces I first stained the chipboard with Time Holtz Distress stain. I then dabbed a bit of white acrylic paint to the edges and added some gold Stickles to the center of the butterflies.

Charlene, this is such a fun layout! I love the photo and the way you've layered the papers around to draw your eye around the page. Your finishes on the chipboard make them the perfect embellishments! Hugs!
