Hello,
Thank you for joining me, Corina, here today on the Southern Ridge Blog. For today's post, I will be sharing this vibrant card using a new Stencil and awesome chipboard designs.
So lets get started! I first inked a piece of watercolour paper using Distress inks and a blender foam in Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry, Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn. I placed the Fence Pattern Stencil over the inked surface and spritzed lightly with water. I allowed it to soak in for around 30 seconds and then removed the stencil and quickly dried it with a heat tool. I was wanting a light effect, if you want it bolder - spritz with more water.
I tore the edges of the watercolour paper and inked the perimeter with Black Soot. I then embossed all my chipboard embellishments with Black Embossing Powder. I also heat embossed my sentiment using the black Embossing powder.
I added my silhouette Flowers to the card front and tucked in pieces from the Honeycomb Pattern under the torn edges. I love the dimension this gives the card!
