Hello and thanks for stopping by! It’s Ava here today to share a CAS card with you for our Anything Goes challenge. I received a new stamp set in the mail from Riley Stamp Co. and decided to make a card incorporating http://southernchipboard.blogspot.ca/ chipboard embellishments. Sure to bring a smile to your day.
Gott'a love the cat with his big grin on the front of this card which is embellished with Southern Ridge Trading Company chipboard which goes so well with this stamp set.
I wanted to show off how well you can make small alterations to Southern Ridge Trading
Company Chipboard, by designing a different element. Here I took the dolphin from the miniature series section of the shop and transformed the dolphin from the Mini Ocean Set into a shark. The miniatures section of the shop are great pieces for card embellishments. To achieve the shark look, get your chipboard damp cut off the dolphin nose and bend and twist lightly the tail to flatten out the look of the fish. Magically a shark appears.
I sprayed the dolphin and the netting with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and assembled the card front.
The the smile of the day is opening the card to see the the shark swimming around the great
sentiment.
