Saying Farewell to the Current Design Team

It's hard to believe that 6 months has come and gone and Karen and I would like to take the time to give our past Design Team a big thank you for all of their beautiful projects they created over the last six months. It has been a true pleasure working with each and everyone of them.

Meet Our Design Team for Fall 2019!

First off, Karen and I would like to thank the current design team for all of their beautiful projects over the last six months. 

We also want to thank all of those who applied to our design team call. It was unbelievable to see all of the talent in Canada and the United States. For those who applied and didn't make it, continue to apply when our call comes up again. We are always looking to add to our team, so don't feel discouraged. You are all very talented and we truly enjoyed seeing everyone's submission. 

We want to welcome back a few of our design team members from the previous team who will be inspiring you once a month on the blog! We want to give a big welcome back to Pam Bray, Karen Jiles, Karla Yungwirth and Ruchi Agarwal.

Design Team Call - Fall 2019

 Design Team Call – Fall 2019

We are excited to announce that we are looking to add 1-2 Full Time Designers to add to our team for a 6 month term!

Southern Ridge Trading Company is a Manufacturer of Chipboard and Wood designs made in BC. 

If you love to create cards, scrapbook pages, altered items and mixed media projects we are looking for you!

Your term will start October.1st, 2019 and ends March. 31^st, 2020

This call is only open to those who live in Canada or the US.

Your responsibilities as a Full Time Design Team member are:

- Have an active blog. By active we mean posting regularly. We want to see you share as much as possible on all social media platforms such as: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, etc. and make sure to hash tag Southern Ridge Trading Company when doing so. Our hashtag is: #southernridgetradingcompany

- You need to have at least 500 followers on any social media platform.

- We require 2  blog post per month with a minimum of 2 pieces of chipboard on your project.

- You must be able to write professional and personable posts as well as provide detailed photographs of your work.

You must be able to follow a schedule.

Benefits of joining our team:

- You will compensated fairly and get to spend it in the Southern Ridge Trading Company store every three months.

- You will receive a discount in the Southern Ridge Trading Company Store during your 6 month term.

- You will receive exposure on our social media platforms.

The Design Team Call will end on Friday, September 6^th. Selections will be made Friday, September 13^th.

Due to the number of submissions that are sent in, we will only notify those who are considered.
