Hello

Happy 2017 Everyone! I hope this post finds you in a New Year of Good Health, Happiness and Creativity!

For my first blog post of this year, I wanted to share with you a Sign I created. I love SRTC Welded Words. I have used them on Plaques, Mixed Media projects, Cards, Scrapbook Layouts and numerous Home Decor items.

Here, I have heat embossed the Cherish using Ivory Frantage and a Embossing Ink Daubber from Stampendeous. I have used Multi Medium Matte to adhere the word and foliage down to the Sign front.

For my foliage pieces, I have painted with Distress and Acrylic paint. I then added flocking, Flower Soft and Stickles to give them dimension. My favourite is the Ivory Flower Soft on the Pussy Willows.

For Hanging, I simply used seam binding in a warm brown colour. You can see it in the first picture.

  3. Beautiful project with so much dimension! Great theme too! I was going to join your challenge but sadly I don't have any items from your store yet. I was hoping to win so I could give them a try. So for now, I'll take your challenge off my list. Best of luck to everyone who is able to join!
